Understanding Shadowsocks Terminology

Server Address – The address or name of the server your device will connect to
Server/Remote Port – The port number of the server your device will connect to.
Password – Your Shadowsocks Password
Encryption Method – Which encryption method to use between your device and the Shadowsocks server, usually-256-CFB
Local/Proxy Port – The Shadowsocks client installed on your device can be used as a local SOCK5 server, which the browser or device network can connect to, you can use it when you configure your device manually to use Shadowsocks. The local port determins the port number of the local SOCKS5 server on your device.
